Our facility is located in Hendersonville, North Carolina at our home, which has been in our family for almost one hundred years. We built our temperature controlled puppy nursery directly behind our house where we can love on our puppies all day, every day. 

Southern Water Dogs has two very important teammates who are integral to our breeding program. Haley Rollins, Puppy Manager, works full time at our facility providing oversight and management of nutrition, early neurological stimulation and development, and communication with our Southern Water Dogs family of owners and prospective owners. You’ll often find Haley keeping detailed litter records, whelping new litters of puppies, or taking the adult goldens swimming and on adventures all over Western North Carolina. Whitney Drake, Trainer, works with our adult goldens and our owners to offer training and enrichment services to our puppies. She provides training packages to our SWD owners to help build a healthy relationship with you, your dog, and your community. 

Our golden retrievers, our kids and us run and play on our thirteen acres like we did in the good ole days. We also have a small pond where our adult goldens can swim and attempt to fish for crawdads and minnows with their hooman brothers and sister. You’ll often find our family outside gardening, playing pickup ball outside, and providing our pups with a healthy lifestyle alongside us.
